OK I have been on covenspace for a few days now and was extatic to join. Don't get me wrong I still am but have a problem with some Pagans on here. And note I said SOME!

What I have a problem with is the attitude of some Pagans on the subject of Satanism. This is a sore subject for me being that a few of my good friends are Satanist and are constantly being chastized for their beliefs. We as Pagans are always yelling and screaming "don't judge me for my spiritual practices" but are so quick to judge when we hear the word Satanist. Im my opinion Satanism is a Pagan practice. Just because it is a "left hand path"(which I think is a retarded thing to call it) does not make it wrong. Many Pagans know that in order for all things to be there has to be a balance of light and dark. I think if more pagans were to actually SPEAK to a satanist rater than JUDGING, we would all see that thier ideals when it comes to family and friends are the same as anyone elses. We as Pagans are always saying "don't be judgemental of me", so why are you judging???

I feel we all need to be more educated on different paths of Paganism and not be so wrapped up in your own. I know i'm going to get a lot of OMG how can you say that? We don't jude! I beg to differ. Now I'm not saying I don't judge because it's part of the human condition for us to do it even if we don't mean to, but I try to keep an open mind and love to be educated on different peoples thoughts on spirituality and how and why they do certain things.

All I am saying is don't be so quick to judge or put someone in a certain category. Be informed before making a judgement. Make a friend and ask a question. You'd be surprised what you learn.
